About Me:

My love affair with all things Hispanic began when I went on a school exchange visit to Barcelona when I was 15. It inspired me to start learning Spanish, which I then took to degree level. After graduation and time spent studying at Granada University, I spent 3 years teaching English in Zaragoza and Seville. When I returned to the UK to work in international advertising, my knowledge of Spanish helped me secure a wonderful job which involved travelling to Spain and South America.  I have a teenage daughter who is also learning Spanish and who shares my enthusiasm for the language and culture. Now I want to help other people learn this wonderful language and hope that it will open up to them some of the great opportunities that I’ve had!
